The theme of our meeting is about growing your business along with succession planning and we have a great presentation to provide real solutions to these challenges we all face in our business.

Angie Herbers, bio below, is our keynote speaker who will lead a two-hour discussion on the Diamond Team Structure, a model she uses with advisors she consults. According to her article in ThinkAdvisor, Angie has seen success for her clients in the following ways:

  • An automatic career path for advisors from entry to partnership
  • Increased productivity
  • A built-in succession plan
  • Reduced recruiting costs (entry level advisors are much cheaper than experienced advisors)
  • A timetable for when to hire new associate advisors

We will also be hosting another case study, a huge hit in our past events as it gives you the opportunity to test your own knowledge and learn from your peers. Come see how other advisors approach real-life situations your clients face!

After the FPA Education meeting, please join us for a special CFP Board private reception and town hall style event.  These special events are designed to provide CFP® professionals and other CFP Board stakeholders with the opportunity to engage CFP Board's leadership in dialogue on issues of importance to the financial planning community, including CFP Board's ambitious goals related to growing consumer awareness, increasing the public's access to CFP® professionals, and other key areas, as well as our CFP Board Center for Financial Planning's initiatives that are addressing critical challenges facing the profession.  Refreshments will be provided while you enjoy the company of fellow professionals.

Please register at: https://www.CFP.net/news-events/calendar-of-events/event-details/2018/03/07/default-calendar/CFP-certificant-connection-san-diego-ca if you would like to attend this special event after the March 7th FPA Quarterly Education Meeting.
